Growing up Desi, we are challenged daily to succeed and thrive, while maintaining our heritage and traditions.  Together, we will change the term ABCD to mean American Born Cultured Desi.

Our Mission

Youth For Community (YFC), as the name implies, is an organization founded for purely charitable causes, and maintained by young professionals in the tri-state area with a focus on creating a support structure for young Desis in the area, regardless of sect, creed or religion.  Without the prejudices and biases of previous generations, we have the ability and the responsibility to affect great change. 

Together, we will leverage the experiences and successes of our members to provide a supportive foundation for ourselves and future generations.  We will build a platform from which we can grow, while giving back to our community.  We will bring all Desi communities to conduct activities to promote relief of the poor, the distressed and/or the underprivileged.
